Read below for some helpful tips on using these templates.

Promoting your open house:

The success or failure of an open house depends on how many interested buyers you can get in the door, and that is determined long before the day of the event. To see some suggestions, both commonplace and unusual, on how best to market your open house, read this Real blog post and use some of the templates below.

Download a Google Document here. This template features 5 listing photos, basic information, and your contact information. Days before the event, try knocking on the doors of neighboring homes, inviting the community and leaving this flyer with them. Once you are finished with the file, select Download as > PDF. We recommend printing with Vistaprint, but you can bring to a local vendor like Staples or Fedex Office if you are in a hurry.

We strongly recommend printing postcards with Real’s Print Portal, which offers a handful of templates. See here for Real’s Print Portal's postcard templates, all which are completely customizable.

Don’t want to use the Print Portal? Download a Google Document here to save files however you want. Once you are finished with the file, select Download as > PDF.

Social media post

Try to post on social media leading up to your event, to inform your network. Download a Google Document here. Once you are finished, select Download as > JPEG Image. Want to get more creative? Agents have recommended Canva. We strongly recommend Pablo for quick social media photo editing. Read more about these tools here

Sending an email to your buyer leads is a smart way of promoting your open house. Before you send the email, make a Facebook event to direct leads to RSVP at. It will be helpful in knowing who has been reached and who might show up to your open house.

Download a Mailchimp email template here. Don’t have a Mailchimp account? We strongly recommend it for all of your e-mail communication. Create an account here.

Bring to your open house:

Once you get people in the door, it is important to think about making the most of their visit.
